Actually, come to think of it the business unit is made by Philips. Siemans made units for late model 75s and I think some 5-series.

Have you got any part numbers on the side or a link to the ebay page?

It's a bm54 professional tuner.
I got a message back from another guy who bought one of these units from him, he had no problems with install, so looks like I have to go through my wiring, it was the fact that the unit I have been using, worked fine?!
Did notice the other day that my hrw is not working, swapped the relay over with the air con relay, both 40amp, and found the relay was faulty. Doesn't the aerial get some power from the hrw?

I don't know where the Siemens version of the BM54 comes from, or what year they are. What's the part number?

Maybe you can find a club member close to you and swap your tuner into their car to see if it causes the same problem. If not, it's your wiring. Might well save you a lot of hassle tracing wires etc.
