Default Dash trim

Alright guys and gals. Has anyone added a suede trim to there dash. Seem to think it might look quite good if I got hold of a cheap dash set and re-trimmed it. I have a black face lift CDTI. What colour would you go for? I'm thinking orange or green?

If anybody has suede trimmed their dash was it easy and were you happy with the results?

cheers

Not sure about that in the ZT. I know a few have painted theirs, myself included. It's your car, if you like the idea, do it.

I'm curious though whether he just applied spray glue to the panels and wrapped it, or whether the fabric was backed before hand. Paying £80 a square metre for real alcantara only for the glue to soak through and ruin it.

I feel another project coming on, especially as the bint spilled coffee over my paintwork and it melted the lacquer.

Hey thanks guys for fishing out the thread. Yeah it does look good. Gonna have to look at some fabrics, might get away with using some suede or ultra suede. Need it to resist UV light as it will fade otherwise.

Any ideas for colours to go with a black car. I know its personal choice but would be good to get some other drivers input.

cheers Andrew
