I also have a central locking issue.
New battery in the fob and the led's light up but the car does not respond. I can only lock or unlock the car if I put the key in the door.
I'm baffled.

Have you tried re-synching it ? Otherwise a quick trip up the A38 to Exeter Road Garage in Newton Abbot might save you a lot of guessing. Read this linked page, not exactly your problem but related, and fixed !

Drop the wife off at Trago's, then you'll both be happy

Regards

I have no idea how to re-sync it. Didn't know I had to to.

If I had a wife that would be amazing lol.

Re-sync procedure is in the handbook, P12 in mine, but mine's in Swedish. Something about pressing the fob four times, look it up.

No wife ? Trago's have just about everything

I tried the method as described in the book and yes you have to press lock 4 times.
Sadly it didn't work so I might be taking a trip to Newton Abbot.

Before heading up the A38 - have you used the search to find others who have had this problem eg checked fuses etc? Have you got another keyfob (usually 2 keys) you could try? If you only have the one key then get another made while up in Newton Abbot. And don’t forget Trago’s !

Regards

Trago always has something useful.
Sadly I don't have a spare key and yes a spare would be a good idea. I forgot about the fuse box silly me.
