Default SUPER fast broadband.

Attempted to print out a photo from lap top 9pm last night, after 6 attempts no response on printer. 1pm today 16hrs later printer started up and printed photo,6 times. Now that is super slow broadband.

LOL I've got two printers on top of the wardrobe that I've given up on . they've going to be introduced to my size 11 boots soon.

Speaking of slow broadband! Our wi-fi got so bad I ordered rolls of Ethernet off ebay and hardwired all the PC's around the house, and Virgin Media are putting their prices up on the 1st September

How do you know it was the broadband that was slow and not the source server or even perhaps a corrupted printer driver in your PC?

I would check the broadband speed by going to

https://www.speedtest.net/

and running the speed test on a PC that is clean (software wise) and runs fast.

You lucky lucky man, that's a speed I can only dream of .

2.06 out here in rural France

I'd switch to mobile broadband if I could get a mobile signal in the house. Making a mobile phonecall involves a 200m walk up the road

Fibre should reach the area within 2 years, whether it'll reach me remains to be seen.

Wine - the devils brew, I haven't touched the stuff since I got blotto'd on it decades ago.

The whisky is a lot cheaper than I used to be able to buy it in Scotland.

I don't think it was broadband speed showing 38 at moment, that was just a joke. I don't use printer often, so i think it took a while to wake up from sleep mode.

That's roughly the same as mine Rev, 100Mb/s basic broadband from Virgin Media, My ping is 8 sec and they always give you more than 100Mb/s mine is around 118 Mb/s , My upload is the same as yours.

The Wi-Fi has been rubbish here though lately to the point I've hardwired all my desktops in.
