Hi Rich.
She must be really uncomfortable in this heat, I hope whatever they do it will be for the best and she will back in the pink pretty soon.

Thanks all, I feel a bit more content that she has been seen and assessed, hopefully these new meds will get her sorted out. Appatently all this stemmed from the really bad chest infection she had.

got a cold Henry Westerns by my side, any way a couple of weeks ago decided to get myself a bike, over the past week I have been going out for short half hour rides by the way it aint! doing my RS any good, the legs are slowly getting used to the ups and downs.
This morning I decided to really go for it and go for a really long trek I am ambling along on dedicated foot and cycle path with more than enough room for any one to pass each other, coming towards me what I did not know was a Tandem until it got near.
On this machine were a man and women all done up in their Lycra outfits etc!
I did not know there was a certain procedure for passing until this numpty jumped NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-!, said I was on the wrong side of the path, I was on the right thinking he would steer to his right and pass me, I slowed down to let him through, hell but no! he decided stop directly in front of me indicating me to move over to the left, to which I replied after a question and answer get on your bike and be on your way, at this point he started to get off his bike, I might have said something like if you get off you wont be going anywhere, at this point his woman friend said just leave it its not worth the hassle.
We then both went on our way rejoicing, there are some real turds out there.
And now I come to think of it I really do hate you name it cyclists.

Rev.
Lycra Lad was probably showing off to his girlfriend. I bet she gave him a right earful when they got home. Perhaps Julien you should invest in a body cam for your own protection, a GoPro.

After the fire on the farm in South Africa, when we lost the fences and gates, it became an open house for mountain bikers, gays and transvestites. At night, I would go out on patrol in the 4x4 to try and scare them off. Some of the lady boys could be quite territorial and aggressive, as though our land was theirs. We didn’t want the farm to get a bad reputation. We weren’t insured in case any of them got hurt pursuing their interests.

The Lycra’s had a network called ‘The Hub,’ that gangs were on our farm at night waiting to attack the cyclists and rob them of their bikes. This also forced the ‘alts’ to go elsewhere. Yes - the Lycra’s can be a bit of a handful, they look so precious in their designer gear

We had homeless people living in the caves on the mountain. They never bothered us and i always thought how tough they were to live in such a harsh environment. We had plenty of water sources for them to use for washing and drinking, springs and streams. I used to speak to them, but they rarely spoke back. I always turned a blind eye to them being there. During the fire, mountain rescue had to go into the caves and get them to safety. The farm is part mountain and part vines on the lower pastures. Yesterday we were talking about selling it, but that’s another subject.

Good morning all how is everyone? This morning we have a new bed arriving, a King size Ottoman and it has to come up 6 flights of stairs with 8 steps in each flight. I have paid for 2 delivery guys to bring it up flat packed and to assemble on site, but I don’t envy their job today with the heat.

Poor Jessica has the grapes from a stomach bug or eating bad food. Fortunately it’s something I managed to escape. The shingles virus is still in the eye and head. It was getting better, but the headaches come at night. It’s a difficult virus to shift, the docs have said I have to put up with it. The ice and Oramorph helps if it gets bad.

Top of the morning to all you good people, was going on an organised bike ride but I have called that off, its going to be a very warm day, or should I say a very hot one.
Got loads of chilled water in the fridge.
