Default The full respray of my Typhoon ZT is finally complete!

After 1 year, the respray on my typhoon ZT is finally complete! Just collected it from Daniel Griffiths today at Cleckheaton Body Repairs after I sent the car to him on Monday this week to fix the bodge jobs and bad finish on both sides by the previous sprayer I used for the full respray.

After taking the car all the way to Newcastle the first time to have it resprayed (from Essex which is a long way) and to have to then take it back again to have things sorted only for it to come back worse and bodged, I was left absolutely gutted with the finish to the point the car had spent most of its time in the garage this year as I couldn't even bare to look at it and never wanted to take it out as the mismatch on the front wings was so bad and obvious along with other issues. For those who were on the Holland trip that I pointed out the issues to will know how badly it was bodged.

About a month ago I contacted Daniel to see if he'd be able to sort it for me or at least improve it, as the mismatch was so bad I thought it couldn't be sorted without spraying a big part of the car again. He was up for taking it on and booked me in.

Daniel worked his magic and has done an amazing job correcting it to perfection. I was amazed when I went to collect it. No matter how hard i look i cannot fault his work. Not only has he sorted the mismatch between the front doors and front wings and sorted the dodgy dark patches on the front doors, which is what i booked it in for, he went over and beyond polishing up the full length of both sides of the car giving it an amazing mirror finish! The original sprayer had poorly finished the doors which had patches that just looked matt and wouldn't shine, along with a tonne of orange peel all over the doors and rear quarters even after I got it back the second time when it should have been sorted. Daniel went over and beyond and sorted all of that for me, absolutely fantastic job.

I cannot thank Daniel enough for all his work and effort. His work is top quality. After 1 year of being so disheartened, i'm finally back in love with the car. Roll on next month when it'll be displayed at the NEC classic car show.

Here's some photos I took yesterday evening.

Well that's interesting!

They are literally on my doorstep and I didn't even know they existed. Probably no more than 2 miles from my house.

Now I know where to take my 75 for a few blemishes sorting.

What are they like on price?

This is their website http://www.cleckheatonbodyrepair.co.uk/

Daniel is hugely recommended on the monogram page as he's done quite a lot of monograms now. He does standard colour cars as well, he done a TF recently which looked amazing.

I find him to be very reasonably priced, cheap in fact for the level of professional work he does.

He was a member on here, he's not a officially advertised spray garage. Don't even know if he still does it, doubt you'd come across him.
