Yes seven months each year since 2001 when we sailed down here from Liverpool marina. The mini meet sounds interesting. I am here till the end of November then return in May 2010.

Although I'm very pleased to see that we have the potential for a small-scale meet in France, I suggest perhaps waiting until the spring. Like the Channel Islands, the south coast of Brittany (including Belle Ile and the Golfe du Morbihan) really comes into its own from mid-May onwards. Majed might also like to have the meet somewhere south of Paris (was really thinking of the northern tip of Burgundy!) although I suspect he wouldn't mind an excuse to return to Brittany. Late November would be very disappointing, even with the glorious weather we've been enjoying recently; added to which it would give me time to make a fuller recovery from the open heart surgery I had this summer.

I am back in france mid april 2010 for a couple of months and would like to meet up with any like minded people, bearing in mind that this would have to be arranged before we left UK as I dont have internet connection in France

Geoffrey, I hope you feel better after your operation (I was not aware you had any) .
I don't mind Brittany or Burgundy, just as long as I would be in France and meet nice fellows . (To be honest, my heart leans toward Brittany  - Always wanted an excuse to see Belle Ile en Mer)

Edit: It would help having the meet during some school holidays (easier to plan with my clan )
