Import Numbers to Australia?
A weird question I guess - but does anyone know, or know how I could find out how many 758's and ZT's (separately) were imported by MGRover to Australia. The company is gone from here altogether.
There are a fair number around (see carsales.com.au) but I'd love to get an idea. Apparently only 11 ZT 260's came into the country... love to find out more. Any ideas gang?

MG ZT 260 V8 cars in Auustralia.
Hi StevieB,
Haven't heard from you for a while. Can't help you with those figures off hand. But for starters, Bonhams & Goodman auctioned the following MG260's at the clearance sale in June 2005 for MG Rover's Administrators. MG ZT 260 V8 Manual Facelift Sports Saloon: ... Sydney: 5 cars. ... Melbourne: 2 cars. MG ZT 260 V8 Automatic Facelift Sports Saloon: ... Sydney: 1 car. MG ZT 260 V8 Supercharged Manual Facelift Sports Saloon (used): ... Perth: 1 Demo Registered at that time as AB73CY; 4,500 kms. Factoory Sat Nav. MG ZT 260 V8 Manual Facelift Sports Saloon (used): ... Sydney: 1 Demo Registered at that time as MGV8 18,566 kms. I also have the Vin numbers, exterior and interior colour listings. If they still held nine of these in stock at their demise, they certainly did not sell many prior to this date. Regards, Egremont. |
