New Car (not Rover )
I've just bought this, Mazda 6 2.0l Takuya spec so half leather sports seats etc- a brilliant drive, not diesel but easily as fast (if not faster) than my 160 map auto 75 and I suspect it will also average about 38mpg in the real world

I’ve eyes up a few Mazda 6 and thought they’re a handsome and well kitted our car. Good value for money too!

It's a nice car, I was a bit worried about it being a 2.0l NA petrol but it actually hustles along rather nicely (lovely gear change as well), corners aren't an issue, and it's soooo quiet
And it's a Mazda petrol engined car, any car can go wrong but........ |

Will be interesting on seeing the real MPG, I like the Skyactiv engines, keeping NA alive

Lovely cars to drive and very stylish. My boss had one for a couple of year and just replaced it with a new mercedes CLA as his company car. He wishes he'd chose another Mazda as he says it's a far nicer drive.

Finally took ownership today and it really is a lovely thing to drive, if you want walnut and chrome (and there is nothing wrong with walnut and chrome) then obviously it wouldn't be for you but otherwise..... stereo is good, dual zone aircon is good (and you just reach over and turn a knob to adjust it), it has just enough toys - AND, as I may have mentioned, it is sooo quiet Just as fast as my 160 diesel 75 as well although it lacks a little torque obviously.
Most of us will have to move on sometime |

Looks lovely.
Quite a fan of Mazda. We had a 2001 1.8 petrol 626 that just kept going & going. Apart from a flaw in the handbrake mechanism (now where else have I heard about that ) she was brilliant. The only non service item I can think of in about 10 years of ownership was the passenger side rear ABS sensor. From MoT history her last MoT was in June 2015 at 149,880 miles. Our current Mazda 2 is on about 93K and the sum total of non service items is a brake light switch that cost about a tenner. Good luck & enjoy. Andy. |

I like Mazda but they seem to rust around the arches , have they got it sorted on the later ones ?
