One thing I would warn with not just this, but with all multi tools. The grinding discs are thin and delicate. Wear protective clothing and goggles when using them. I had one shatter and part of it became embedded in my shed about 10 feet from where I was working.

Got one of these since last year it always comes handy doing things picked it up along a box spare bits
Cant go wrong with 3 years warranty just remember to keep a receipt as 1st year is with shop after that you have to go thru lidl customer services that transfers you to manufacturers |

I have a cheap generic one like this and a genuine Dremel. For serious work, the difference between them is like night and day.
Over the years I've bought quite a few Dremel attachments as well for my model making activities. |

I have a Proxxon scroll saw, so yes agree that they are excellent. I also have a Delta table-top band saw. This is another manufacturer of quality tools. There is nothing wrong with the cheaper tools for everyday use - they just lack the precision, power and longevity. My cheap multi-tools stay in the garage/lock-up whereas the finer tools and stored in the warmth of of the house. |
