Question Given the opportunity, what Traffic Law would you introduce or reintroduce?

No question in my mind, I would reintroduce the once very familiar sign on UK roads: HALT AT MAJOR ROAD AHEAD

I’d make cyclists and horse riders pay tax and insurance.

Minimum speed limits on some roads and major fines for people who don't use the lanes correctly on motorways.

I was recently following a car on the M25 that was in outside lane with no traffic any of the other lanes. The worse part she was traveling and less than 45 mph . If I had the powers I would have given here 5 points for each offence and a big fine.

How about more money for the police so that they have enough officers to actually enforce the existing ones?

I think a law shoul d be introduced to allow us to drive on whichever side of the road we feel moist comfortable

On a serious noite though I think a law similar to the German rule that would allow left turns at junctions even when lights are red would be useful

No parking on the pavement, especially when they have a perfectly good drive.

"Make a Metre" meaning, a minimum of one metre space on the pavement, wide enough for a wheel chair or large push chair, and if that's not enough, park elsewhere.
