Some great ideas thanks folks thanks but dont fancy heating it if i can avoid.

Spent way to much time last night looking at puller porn inspired by AndyN01 and have ordered a cheapo set "DA YUAN 14pcs Bearing Separator Puller Set 2" and 3 Splitters Remove Bearings Kit"

If the cheapo splitter above doesnt work shall have to try a set with a hydraulic ram but torn between a sealey PS980 or the US pro elbow type to finally empty my bank account getting, i prefer the look of the sealey if it fits. Any thoughts?

If i had a 7lb lump hammer and room to swing it i would go and show Nigel what he's bringing down on himself being this akward.
