I can't imagine why anybody would even want the job.

Think we'd be better just having a GB team!

At least the goals scored against England were from English Club teams Players.
........and there lies the Main Problem.

England need a Manager that can get great team performances from average players;because that is all England have, whoever picks the team.
The great Brian Clough was one of the few to achieve this, but was considered to be a "loose cannon" by the F.A.How they would welcome his talents now.

I doubt it rover. They rejected a far better candidate than McLaren called Martin o'Neill as he was far to much his own man. Just like his old boss.

Until the root problems are dealt with then the England team will continue to be second-rate and mediocre. The other home nations won't get much further either.

I am afraid Pete that if we made a Team from all the Players in the UK it would still be poor.
They are all just over Paid, Clowns now.

I can only assume that the 4 members who have voted for Donald Duck are not taking this poll seriously

I am also absolutely astounded that 2 members have voted for Bamber Gascoigne (please remember he is NOT related to Paul Gascoigne) when the obvious choice for the job is Anne Widdiecombe - who, incidentally, is hosting 'Have I Got News For You' tonight - so don't forget to tune in case she has a football related announcment to make
