Default What's it worth?

In the market for a tourer to replace my diesel saloon to accommodate the ever expanding family and the dog,

Spotted this on Auto Trader http://www.motors4you.co.uk/used-car...01610048434074 but the price doesn't sit right with me, mentions full history but no mention of belts being changed,

what do we think would be an appropriate price be to pay?

I paid that for a similar one a couple of years ago, however this one has lpg and that's hard to find on a zt. Probably not far off the money I'd say.
As for the belts unless they know rovers, just assume it's not been done and price that in. If you get there and it's got all the paperwork for a belt change consider it a bonus.

Will make a lovely car if you get the alloys done. All the SE bits on it too.

I would say £2995 if it really is as good as in the pictures.

The appropriate price is what the seller is willing to sell for.

Why does the price not sit right with you - do you also feel that it is rather low for such a beautiful car?

Must be because I'm a stingy Yorkshire man , will have to convince the other half now who struggles to park the saloon .

Stingly people in Yorkshire? Surely not?

Tell the wife it's easier to park as it's a tourer.

Quick question for people who have driven a 180 auto and a 190 manual although there is a difference in bhp is it that noticeable? and could the 180 be remapped for more or best to keep it as is for the auto gearbox?

Update on this, I went to have a look at the car today interior looks OK seats are comfy with the usual wear to the drivers bolster, the paint work is not the best plenty of deep swirl marks probably never been washed properly and scratches around and behind door handles, wheels are plenty curbed and in need of a refurb could do with 2 new tyres on the front.

The advertised full service history consisted of 3 stamps from 04 to 06 and a couple of receipts so I made an offer and was told to p off and I've wasted 30 minutes of his time so quickly left after a brief exchange of words so will be avoiding motors 4 you also known as ar motors, but if anyone else local wants to further waste his time would be good
