Default How cheap are they now ??

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rover-75/3...3D182379096309

Just saw this on ebay while looking for something completely different - I love the way that works.

Only £150, 5 hours to go, and no bids.

I would have thought the cream leather seats and on a 51 plate I am guessing wood dash, would be more than worthwhile.

No MOT (ended last month) - and on a photo shows the airbag light on.

Those wanting a project - could be a real bargain.

Cheap because:

Cack pics
Filthy car
Looks unloved/uncared for
Cack description

You could go on!

It'll probably sell, but not for a lot as it'd be a potential minefield IMO

but for £150 worth more in parts the interior alone must be worth the best part of that ...

Not far from me but I'm not going to take a look as I have my winter project sat outside the house. Yes another poor attempt to sell a car but sometimes you do get a nice surprise when you turn up and find its not as bad as the pics after all. Not so confident about this one.

The only problem is, that it's not really £150 is it? The car will need to be trailered home and how many people have access to a trailer/transporter, as was witnessed recently with the abandoned ZT in Lincolnshire thread. You then have to immediately start spending money on it, just to make it roadworthy, when there are plenty of 75's about with MOT for as little as £250. Yes it's sad that it will probably end up in the crusher, but we can't save all of them.

I was talking about the guys that did. I'm still looking for a nice Connoisseur SE CDT manual and as has been mentioned in another thread, I'm tired of looking at over-priced tat, or cars with "full history" having two stamps in a service book.

I don't think 75s are as cheap as they once were. Used to be able to pick up really good ones cheap, but now, for the most part, good ones are dearer than they were 18 months ago.
