We now have 10 sets requested so have been in touch with Radioguy to take things to the next step. Hopefully we can find out the shipping costs and the arrangements for the sale soon. After that I will PM you all to confirm your orders. Sean says these are direct from MG-China, so not copies.

Although they are a bit pricey over the O/E ones I have no option so put me down for 2 pairs as both my 75's are in dire need of them.

Jim,

I remember you had your back plates off the car, can you possible weigh one to give us an idea on shipping costs?

Thanks

I would like a pair too, as long as postage isn't crazy.

One of mine is somewhat moth-eaten and it's likely used ones will be quite rusty too.

Weighed in at 205 Grams each.

Looks like we have the numbers now for an order.
Hopefully it won't be too long as I am holding off re fitting the brakes etc in case they arrive.

What do you mean by cut away the ring? I need to do front discs and pads soon but holding out until the plates come, if it requires removal of wheel bearing i'll forget about the plates?

He means cut of the skinny strip of metal that makes the circle in the centre of the plate so you can get the new plate in from the side instead of removing the hub. That's what I was planning to do anyway.

The agent in China has been progressed today so hope to have a delivery date shortly.

After a long shipping time & Customs delays, Sean has managed to get these parts released to me, and will shortly be confirming orders with those who expressed an interest back in May when I started this thread.

I will PM each in turn, then determine the postal costs to get them to you, then we can arrange payment etc.
:
Thanks to Sean we now have these:
