Default TV's confused?

We have just done a digital channel rescan, on two TV's, which seems to have added around 30 or so extra channels - so far, so good. Except....

BBC 1 reception (not checked all of them yet) has become very weak and now continually breaks up, and Dave and Yesterday have swapped channel numbers. This is on the Emley Moor transmitter. Anyone else?

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Quite possible the transmitter is operating at reduced power whilst they are upgrading especially if new channels are being added.

It may be worth you also looking at what software your TV is running and do an over the air download, it should be within settings on your menu somewhere. Can take a while to update so be prepared and even then it may do nothing.

In my case the digital upgrade was done in 2 stages, with the signal stronger after the 2nd retune.

All of the UKTV channels have changed,so you'll need to retune ie Dave,Yesterday & Really.

One TV offered the the firmware upgrade and it was done this morning - took an hour. other set had no upgrade needed to be applied.

No BBC1 reception on either set now. BBC 1 still works on bedroom TV and car's DD unit.

As suggested above I'm guessing they are still faffing about and all should settle down soon.

BBC 1 back again after a trip to town and a fourth scan. Dave still on 12 and Yesterday still on 19.

I had a similar problem with mine, on auto tune it would miss finding certain channels. But if I did a manual tune it eventually found the channels and that cured the problem.
