We had a holiday in Paris a few years ago. One night we went to a seafood restaurant, order a fruits of the sea platter. What arrived was the size of a dustbin lid crammed with every kind of seafood you could imagine, fantastic. Discovered later we'd actually stumbled on one of the top seafood restaurants in Paris.

Just had a laugh, came back from a wee bit shopping. Girls were all excited to see me, Suzy sits up and begs (not something we taught her to do), Pops decided to give it a go, got up onto her back end and kept going, landed flat on her back

Used to get people buying a house near the railway then complaining about the noise! Personally I'd never have a house next to a railway, at some point you are going to have a maintenance train thumping away outside your house all Saturday night. When I was driving I was on a maintenance train, one of several, working next to a housing estate on the outskirts of Bathgate. The site manager had to call the Police, some idiot was throwing stones at the trains and staff because they were keeping him awake.

The beast is a banned member At the time, he introduced me to Stocktake and Marina, other well known members were welcoming. He was being helpful. I think you might remember. When we left Lakeland we drove through a downpour so pulled into a motorway services for coffee n cake and had our usual chinwag.

I still miss his cheeky grin and patter.

Sorry George, I didn't mean to resurrect a sad memory. Tam was a true gent of the highest order, a great guy and down to earth. I bought some car parts from him for a fair price, he did make me laugh
