Default 1.8 none turbo auto

Just acquired a 1.8 auto, early 2001 nice example to have as a back up car. Rather nice high miles Connie se.

I don't think I've ever spied a 1.8 auto none turbo before for sale, never mind locally.

Have we an idea how many of them where made?

Surprisingly quite a few were made, a nice cruiser, but don't try and win any races!

Haha not a chance, I do think 135 cams and a map would transform it at a later date, but head was done 4 months ago and has done 3k miles since so seems to be sorted.

The 135 cams do help apparently, I would like to see one with a bit of head work to see how that measured up.
