Do you mean the ones that go in the cassette player with the wire out of them to the 3.5mm jack? The jack plugs into your iPod/MP3 etc?i had one years ago so I could play CDs from a personal CD player. Worked really well as I remember.

I have a Belkin FM transmitter now to play the iPod. That works ok but often get interference.

I have one & it works very well. I don't think much of the radio-frequency type.

In the past I have used both the cassette and FM Tuner.
I found the FM tuner to be best but it did have an auto tuner on it so that It kept to the best signal

Cheers i.ll order one tonight. It would be less hassle to fit a cd player but i like originality and thats what came with the car when new.

Colin, they now sell these cassettes with an SD card built in which you simply load with tunage

That sounds good though is it a case of put it in & listen to the music as it comes rather than having any form of track selection?

I bought mine years ago for a portable CD in the car but it works equally well with the iPod.
