Zt cdti tail end pipes
Does anyone know if you can get chrome end pipes, for the type of exhaust that curves downward, or would it be easier just to cut level the ends of the twin pipes ,just wondering if anyone has done one or the other, cheers ian.

I was able to polish the tailpipes on my ZTT, it took a while but with Autosol Metal Polish and patience the tailpipes on my ZTT look like this.

My 75 has chrome ends to the exhaust. No cutting of the bumper and they just protrude a little bit. They where on the car when I bought it and I do think they look great! Closer examination shows them to be aftermarket type things attached over the tailpipes on the back box. Easily and cheaply available online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I quite like the fact that the downpipes are concealed. Having had an aftermarket back box fitted this is no longer the case, but the bumper doesn't get sooted anymore.

I cleaned mine up a bit, some old wheel acid, and then dried them and a bit of wheel silver. Looks good, and so far lasted 1000 miles.
