I'd recommend outlook to anyone. Their junk filter is excellent, virtually all junk mail ends up in the correct folder and virtually nothing you need ends getting binned off.

It really is good.

I run Outlook and a very good filter system server side that will deal with just about anything.

Not bought any thing from Halford for a long time. But elsewhere if asked for e mail have told them I haven't got one. Which I haven't. Looking for insurance etc if it comes up I just go elsewhere. Some of these companies must lose a lot of business because of this

Totally agree.

Tho I am careful who I give my email to. One I have is Screwfix - and it is very handy as I often buy more than a need or several variations on a product as I am not sure which one is the one I need. Then, getting a refund on the unused items is a piece of cake.

Excellent service always at Screwfix so I am prepared to let them have my details. As for Halfords - all of them employ such a moronic bunch of to55ers that I very rarely enter a store let alone let them have any of my personal details.

No word of a lie - I once went in for EP90 gear oil and couldn’t find it. So I asked and was shown the engine oil display “No, I want gearbox oil” I said.

The response from the Halfords employee was:-

“Oil’s oil mate”

You could not make it up.....
