A person we all need to know with our 75's getting older - therefore, what are his contact details, please? May need to use him in the future - hopefully not.
cheers
John

To be far, no amount of probing will make the corrosion worse, only reveal the true extent of what needs fixing. Probing won't displace good steel and anyone who's done a similar repair will know you have to make it look a lot worse before you can make it better.

Fortunately, from the pictures i've seen on this site of similar problems, the rust does stay quite localised. On my old Ford, removing the sills revealed half the inner sill and several inches of floor pan also needed replacing.

Glad you got sorted and are happy!
What is his painting like with flip paints? Does anybody know? I have four originals, Poseidon, Typhoon, Aurora and Moody Blue that have lacquer peel or stone chips and need tidying and I have a ZTT I want respraying in Twilight or Shot Silk. Non of his photos show spraying final results.

Tom isn't a specialist painter - he's a panel beater. He can make panels that don't exist, but for what you require you need a paint man.

PM little ulk or ricardo65, Dan had his moody blue painted in the Hull area and it looks stunning.

I have the number of a good paint shop near Scunthorpe that would do them too, very pricey, but you get a top job.

I had my 75 done by Tom after seeing photos of his work done on Dawn's car and Trikeys recommendation, and I'm glad I did!

Digging this old thread up, anyone got a ballpark figure for cost? Had to weld a hole for the MOT this year so I'm sure the sills aren't great and it won't be long until it becomes an issue.
