I'll have another look for the wiring today - it was dark when I removed the shelf, so maybe i'll get lucky

as for the practical use of the blind - I'm sick of tailgaters, and i figure activating the blind may work to alert folks to the fact they are encroaching on my personal space ................maybe even have a "nice" message screen printed on

If you haven’t the wiring and decide you wished to retrofit I’ve the connections in my old zt that you can have for the price of postage.

My 53 plate ZT had the wiring tucked away so I got a blind from a member on here and fitted it to the existing shelf, the hardest bit is getting the shelf out and refitting it to be honest, as I was as I'm sure you already know going on a jolly round Europe last year and thought some shade would be good for anyone sitting in the back, so after fitting it then getting the aircon regassed (it was completely empty) and driving round Europe I never used it once
But I'm sure it will come handy at some point and was worth the faff.

Slightly more useful that the drivers side cup holder.

Debatable point. I had one in an Omega, only ever used it if I didn't like the look of the bugr following me.

I fitted one to my green 75 and I have to say I found it really useful when driving at night when some Muppet was driving too close with his headlights burning through the rear window , it was handy in the summer as well !

I've one in my ZT complete with HK grille........never used it, but it's there if I decide to do so.

It's something about having five buttons above the cup holder that's all

I had another look it would appear the Illuminated Sunvisors are the only extra connectors/wiring fitted to the loom in my Car

I fitted my original Parcel Shelf for now - Breakers yard was closed on Sunday so I couldn't acquire a Black shelf (Ash Grey?)

I'll keep the Sunblind and consider fitting when weather is better
