Unhappy fuel gage problem

when going to one of my dads mates farm he has a track as you go down there's 2 ditched as we when around the corner my car when in the ditch and all the wires riped out we now fixed it but the fuel gage now isn't working right now as we go around corner's or up hills the fuel gage go all over the place what could it be

What the actual fudge is this?

So you went around a Conner (corner) too quick and your car has ripped the wires out? If it’s ripped the wires out I’d hate to see what other damage there is plus it would suggest you or your dad was driving too fast for the road conditions if you ditched it.

Did this happen or did you dream it?

I maybe wrong here but don't the wires run within the car and not along the floor pan?

They do in mine but hey they may have been modified in the rebuild
