Steve, it’s worth checking out with your practice pharmacist or GP for the side effects you mentioned.

When I was admitted into Coronary Care on 19 December, my medication was stopped as some of the tablets can cause arrhythmias. I know someone else in the OC who is diabetic and who is on Insulin. He reports his anti diabetic medication gives him permanent diarrhoea so he is on Loperamide on prescription.

Take care

Jeff, it is great to see you enjoying cooking and eating.

As you know we have a cleaner who visits our house twice a week. She opens up the house twice a week whilst we are away and cleans. Last week she found a baby Spitting Cobra in the ground floor bedroom. She got help and it was removed carefully. I wondered what happened to mummy Cobra. Is mummy Cobra still in the house. Keep a watchful eye out in case,

Took me off insulin after about 12 months once I got the diabetes well under control, been on metformin since. I always have loperamide in the house just in case. The side effects aren’t “permanent”, just now and then. I don’t think the other night was meds induced, never caused stomach pain before and certainly not so severe that it caused me to grey out. The only med that gave me real problems was the statin, tried several before I found one I could live with, all caused varying levels of muscle pain etc.

I’m kinda back to sorts now, waiting for the groomer to arrive (13:00ish) to do Suzy and Maya. We normally do them ourselves but it’s been too wet to do them outside and don’t want hairs floating around the house

Just taken Maya out to the groomer’s van. Dear God, it’s bleedin’ cold out there, colder than it was when I went out earlier.

Maya’s attitude totally different to Poppy, when you hand her to the groomer Pops trembles “what are you going to do to me?!”, Maya just sat on the bench in the van looking at the groomer, “who are you, what’s this place?” Suzy is wondering where she’s gone.

Maya is so chilled she was done in less than half the time it takes to groom Pops! I’ll post pics when Suzy is done.

Suzy and Maya groomed in less time than it takes to do Poppy. I’ll post pics later, they’re a bit hyper just now.

It's the same here, The wind has dropped but it's perishing out there.

Nice one Jeff, I'm baking today too, just waiting on my lardy cake's dough to prove.

Baldy babies looking ship shape & Bristol fashion Steve, What sweeties.
Our moggies are up against the radiator on the bed now I've switched the central heating on.

Hope t'other Steve in Bernard Matthews county is doing well with the covid lurgy.

Lardy cakes done & taste bootiful, They remind me of school days, I snaffled one before tea later which will be ping meals from Iceland, TFI meatball lasagne which is really good.
