You should try plugging a Trickle charger up your backsides no need to rely on batteries you will then be good to go all the time, Rev |

Morning all - what a 'orrible, close, warm, muggy night that was. If there'd been enough room, I was tempted to jump into the chest freezer in the garage - but enough about my perversions
Layer of cloud here this morning - and light showers forecast for this afternoon. Bit if a nothing day for me - picking my son up from the small, independent garage where he's dropping his missus' car off for service - so I might ask them for a price for new front discs and pads on the Honda - pads are fine, but the disks are like my hair - will thinned out . The Honda dealers did mention the wear last time they had the car - and quoted me a replacement cost which was so high I had to climb a step ladder to see it This afternoon, I have to take my sister to the local hospital for an x-ray - rather worryingly she's started having breathing difficulties in the humid weather.

The Chill Out Zone
Main dealers know how to charge Rod, do you have a good local ( independant Honda ) garage that could do the work?

I'm trying to keep my scheduled services with the dealer, as every service since new has been carried out by a Honda main dealer, and that added to the two owners only, and 60,000 miles on an '08 car, means that it might one day be worth a few more shillings than the norm. Other work outside the servicing - I'm happy to have done by an independent. Funnily enough, we have a load of local garages, with factory trained technicians setting them up as small businesses - Jags, Renault, Volvo, all French cars etc. - but not a Honda one. The garage my son is taking his car into today came recommended by a good friend who has used them for around 10 years - so I think I'll go with them.

Typical Rod! When I had a Passat I went to the main dealer for a cambelt change, the local independent managed to do the whole job for less than the main dealer wanted for the parts!!

Morning all, on an obligatory rest day today, I put 58 hours in last week, so have to take a rest day to comply with the road transport regs.
