Well that was a real pain in the butt! Old curtains down, pole down, had to keep moving the ladder as I couldn't reach both sides. pole dusted and polished. Put the curtains on the pole, refitted the mounts on the pole, lifting it into position I couldn't stop the (heavy) curtains sliding side to side making it bleedin' awkward, hadn't put the end rings on the pole as I wouldn't be able to see to get the mounts in the wall fittings, least the mounts meant the curtains couldn't slide off. Got one mount into the wall fitting, couldn't get the other one in, managed to balance the pole on the wall fitting, down the ladder, move the ladder, up again, get the mount into the fitting, down the ladder, get the screws and screwdriver, up again, secure the mounting to the fitting, same at the other side.
Glad she doesn't want the curtains changed very often |

I’m well peeled off today, I had been wading for a syncope clinic on 22nd October at the Freeman hospital.
Today I was called by them to say them to say the appointment had been cancelled because the machine was broken, now I have to make until to mid December until I get see. I’m really really peed off, I’m still waiting for another appointment which was told I’d be seen this year, still waiting for it now, I just hope I don’t get to go the week before Christmas .

Good morning everyone.
Another grey start to the day, it rained late yesterday and in the night. Essential shopping today to Tesco’s.

Where do you get the half round plastic Ian? B and Q doesn't sell them and the other plastic company only sell 2mm metres per plastic piece .

Hi Rich, It's an 8 metre carbon fibre roach fishing pole from the early 1980's that I used to match fish with, Used to be 9 metres until some clod run over one of the sections with the car.....cough.....me ..... I just rinse the upstairs windows off with the hosepipe afterwards. Chips fish n peas for tea tonight done in the air fryer.
