An old mate of mine swapped his 2.0 Ghia Capri for a 2.3 Ghia Cortina way back in the mid 80s. He was very disappointed with it compared to his Capri and I used to run rings round him in my Mini 1275GT
I was never a fan of Mk4 Cortinas

Here are a couple of photos I took in Lunatic Lane, Nanyuki, Kenya belonging to a local using the Cortina as a daily runner, parked up outside of his house .

I liked the Mk4/5 Cortina's, i had a Mk4 between 1983/85, super car.

It's nice to see one now, the 2.3V6 was smooth but not as willing as the 2.0 4cyl in the day.

I loved the MK 4 and 5 back in the day Graham but I now find my affection veering towards the MK3 a car I hated when they were new which I can only put down to my love for the MK2 then this completely different car the MK3 appeared
