Default manual air con to auto

Hi,

Is it an easy job to change a classic rover 75 with the manual air con controls to the auto controls?

regards

Don't think so, I'm sure someone asked a while back & it's a lot more involved than you think

As I recall, the best solution offered here, is to sell it and buy a model with climate control.

My first ZT had manual air con, didn't bother me at all and I fitted most of the other options that I actually wanted myself

It is very involved, and requires not only removal of the dash and removal of the heater unit and replacement with the HEVAC unit of a climate control car, but also a ZCS coding change.

It has been done, but owning a classic with manual AC isn't all bad, you acn reach down and adjust the knobs without taking your eyes off the road, and I actually prefer it
