You’d need a decent bank balance and a fair bit of patience to fix that one. It’s a shame, as it’s got a lot to commend it for its rarity among the community. I hope it goes to a good home but I fear it won’t.

TBF, a lot of the problems on there are relatively minor. I just can't understand how they have all come to failure point at the same time. But I guess if you keep ignoring advisories too long, it can happen. Many a 16 year old car of any make will have needed some welding, .if you shop for parts carefully, you could have a rarity as an economical daily hack for a few hundred £. Personally, I don't like the silver they use on the duo -tones. Could you order any combination of the standard colours, or was there a limited range of options?

Not all duotones are silver combinations

Yes, I think I prefer the ones that are basically 2 shades of the same colour; - Blue and blue, green and green, Black and grey. That blue and red one looks like it was painted in trucker's livery. No Likee!
