me it would have too be my first Ford probe.

Let's make it even more intresting shall we, out of the cars that you were offerd in the past, which one of those of offers cars do you wish you took and bought.

I was offered a Ford Granada for a £1000 pounds, it was Ghia and it was a 2.0 pinto block same as the Ford Sierra, lovely looking car and I'm big fan of the Ford Granada.

Just wish I had more money and more time and I regret not jumping for it.
I owned an immaculate old Cooper S for 15 minutes around 25 years ago here in Oz. It went like stink. The guy had changed the carbs to Webers and had to fabricate an air intake as it was very close to the fire wall and he used some foam for the home made filter. Despite soaking it in petrol for a week to see if it would affect it chemically, he still used it despite other people's protestations as to his sanity. He assured me it would be fine....
Handed over the money, reversed up the steep drive, the car coughed, shot flame out of the carb and promptly caught fire, flames licking up over the windscreen. We hurriedly put the fire out and i rolled it back down the drive into his garage and he promptly gave me my money back.
He fixed the paintwork, messed with the timing and fixed the foam issue and called me a week later to come pick it up and pay him again. Strangely enough i refused.

I have two, My Jensen Interceptor series III in purple with black leather and everything worked! got married and told the old "its me or the cars" made the wrong choice.

The second is my first MG ZTT Which after 6 years searching I got back on the 5th May! Sadly the engine is blown and she's not been looked after at all well but I will get her looking like she did the first time round.

Id post pics but don't know how why is it so difficult to do on this site?

Car I owned was a Daimler vdp xj series 3. Finished in antelope with biscuit hide it was a beautiful car. But, I was tempted by an xjs and foolishly sold it to fund purchase of sporty whim. Soon regretted it. Car I wish I had gone for when offered was a Rover p5B coupe in navy. Hesitation lost the deal but still on my list of cars to own before i hang up my keys.

Default Cassic Cars

For me it was my Sunburst red XR3, wish I still had it.

Bought it in Germany Tax Free in 1981, for the sum of £3940 brand new, and drove it for 9 years, and sold it in 1990 for £1500

Stu

PS and that was the time that I only owned one car

Without a doubt my 1985 Ford Capri 2.0 Laser, it was a Maroon Red, sold it in April 1991 to a chef that worked at the hospital, he was retiring and it was a present to himself, to be fair he looked after the car well, but i still regretted selling it even now.
