I've posted on here before about how much Brian has done to help me - including driving me halfway across the north of England to bring me to a car which he then T4'd for me despite hiccups, thereby missing out on an event his daughter was involved in, and refusing to take a penny for doing a T4 session on another car of mine - and I've seen him spend well over an hour sorting a car out for a complete stranger at no charge, just because he was there and he could. I could make a list of other such instances, but since I started calling him Walter the Softy I don't want to give him the excuse to fire the same back at me ...

The guy's a gent. If this is it for him in terms of involvement in the club then it's very much the club's loss, not his. I don't know what it is that has killed off the appeal of the place for him, but I suspect one or two people need to take a long, hard look at themselves.

Also deeply saddened by Brian leaving judging from his posts a deeply knowledgeable chap indeed I'm new to this club and it was a pleasure reading and receiving the wealth of information available from all posts especially mickyboy, artic and of course Brian and loads of others posting on this quite wonderful forum.

Well sir, don't insult mine.

Am I to believe now, that you understand the complaint and subsequent accusation laid at your feet now re: the assistance of and or the distribution of intellectual property

I see the O'Jays are singing that old song again,no wonder people stop posting and seek new pastures.

If our Derek was still here (God Bless Him),he would be banging a few heads together

A sad sad day for the club , Brian has helped me out of trouble on many occasions and his knowledge of these cars is exceptional , the pool of talented people who can keep our cars on the road is shrinking and at this rate we'll have no one left soon . Come back Brian we need you (and your opinions ! ) .
