Just heard this shocking news, I met him a few weeks ago at the bridge inn at Ratho for a meal, he had a pain in his hip, his mother had just passed away the previous week.


I am absolutely stunned to hear this....

Just been made aware of this by Graham, shocked and saddened to hear this. I knew Brian well enough to speak to, and he came to several off the meets that I attended. RIP Brian.

God this is very sad news, and my thoughts and prayers are with his family at such a tragic time. Brian attended lots of the North east Meets and he will be sadly missed

What an absolute disastrous bit of news

I was having a chat with Brian at Whitley Bay last month, and this has come as a complete shock.

It's always the same, the good ones are taken too soon.

My deepest condolences to Brian's family at this difficult time.
