Just saying what I would do.

Talking of bargains, how about this price for a genuine Rover three part diesel clutch assembly.

And for a V6.......LINK

Neither of these include the gash tazu slave cylinder either, I only wish I'd seen it before buying the LUK kit

I don't need one at the moment and Rimmers would probably have been the last place I would have looked anyway but any idea why the 2.5 version (which is also specified for the 1.8 turbo - is the 2.0 that gutless) £115 more than the 2.0 version.
I take it that the slave cylinder illustrated is a more robust/longer living version than the original OEM plastic job?

Try here for recommended independents - https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=287276.

Kevin in Wickford I have used, a no frills outfit but knows these cars inside out. The Chelmsford outfit come recommended, but have not used them myself.

You know the original OEM plastic job.......I'm going to let you into a secret if they are fitted correctly, they will last easily 100,000 miles.

What you don't need to bother with are cheap no brand knock off copies, fitted badly and without care, because they will not last and you will be moaning and groaning about how rubbish they are.

By the way I have an original AP slave complete with plastic pipework for the next clutch change, which might well be to convert a 75 diesel automatic into a manual car

I wouldn’t have another manual car after running autos for 3 years now.
