Now I will think it's likely a clutch and slave cylinder, maybe even the guide sleeve as well - still not convinced the DMF would be bad, but shaking the life out of it under current conditions for very long likely would finish it. However, checking and replacing the bottom mount is not expensive or difficult. Wouldn't hurt to do it and it MIGHT fix your problem. Cheers, Glenn

slovcan i feel really hard at from stationary, to move it at first thats the first symptom, after while stationary at idle i can hear a loud sound, sound mettalic, if you press the clutch it stops wright one, after a few touchs in the pedal it stops for long time, then comes again.
and i also feel the clutch pedal trembling almost all of the time... i already have the clutch, the slave, not sure about dmf so havent bought it yet, also have the bottom mount... but isnt akward the bottom mount shot giving me so much noise and vibration and trembling in the clutch pedal??? besides the clutch of course. |

Interesting discussion here on DMFs - https://forums.mg-rover.org/mg-zt-ro...ywheel-258579/
Could the loud sound mentioned by Super S in post 12 be caused by a broken spring in the DMF? (2m 15s here) Can an ordinary flywheel be fitted instead (i.e. ditch the DMF)? https://rimmerbros.com/ItemList--Rov...Clutch--m-2023 Last edited by Blink; 2nd June 2019 at 09:44.. |
