I know, but since there may have been some crossover of the fuel systems between MK1 & MK2, the pictures confirm yours has the MK1 system.

If it is the engine HP fuel pump (not the electric UBP) that the guys are referring to, then yes, I think it is a hard job. Well, maybe not so much hard as very precise requiring a specific tool for installing the replacement.

Thomas, I would be getting the nearside strut top sorted before the fuel pump if I were you.
