Default Door mirror question

Mk2 Contemporary SE with skull cap power fold. The O/S works perfectly.
The N/S mirror is the problem, it folds as it should but doesn't have any heat. I've cleaned/lubricated the terminal tags and spade connectors without improvement and exchanged the glass (not new) cleaned those terminals etc. but still no heat so I guess I might just have two duff mirrors.
On the Mk2 is there a separate fuse for each mirror, if so where is it and what's it's number?
Presume I can check the heating function by just putting 12V across the two terminals?
If I have to check the wiring, where is the first loom break (plug) after the mirror or is there a more obvious reason where there might be a fault?

Check there is +12V across the mirror terminals (leads connected) when ignition is switched on, this will check if the wiring is OK.

Bump on this, anyone - are there seperate fuses for the Mk2 skull cap mirror wiring circuit, if so where are they and what are their numbers please?

All I know is F35 on Mk1, on all the time igition is on, temperature set by on mirror thermistor.

The Fuseboard layout in your car should list the fuses, passenger side in car, in your Driver's handbook??

My handbook indicates
F11, 5A 'mirrors'
F18, 5A 'mirror'
so it looks like there's just a common 5A fuse for O/S and N/S door mirrors and I've got either a faulty N/S glass or a wiring issue?

Check your fuses and then check whether you have +12V on the actual mirror terminals.
