That's kinda what I meant. I use the basic air con in our Suzuki all year round to keep the windows clear. It's just a case of balancing the temp manually with the heater control.

If you've never had a new condenser I bet you're probably need one. Shine a torch thru the front grill, you'll most likely see the fins crumbling away, causing lots of little gas leaks.

Grivas how weird! That is who I have booked! He is coming Friday afternoon. ☺ I haven't used him before but he has great feedback.

I know aircon should be serviced - but as my sister in law refused to let me take on the car at first nothing was done at all. Now I am playing catch up! Getting there, tbough. ☺

AC/DC looks like a great choice Dawn, and with the bonus of an endorsement from another club member. He couldn't be more local to you either! I'm pleased that my recommendation was helpful. Let us know how it goes. I am sure you will!

I'll let you know! ☺ If it needs a repair it might mean Daryl coming back as I am off to the East Kirby show Saturday. It was a place very dear to my brother but he never got to take his car. Last year I saw one identical there and was brought to tears thinking of his rotting on the drive. Its amazing to think this year I am custodian and get to take it!
