Default Need to buy a couple of things

Hi folks,

I've been splitting my time between the house and the car. I found a lot of little things in the car - mostly spares, I'd say, but there might be a couple of old things that were returned to the PO after new stuff was installed. I'll make another post with pictures and maybe some folks can identify a few things.

However, for THIS post I need a couple of things. First up is one of Arctic's SSCs for my hand brake. I'll PM him for that.

The other thing for now is a Tourer rear seat courtesy light. Mine has the two rear tabs broken off. Since it wouldn't stay stuck in the headliner I just took it out. So, does anyone have one with all the tabs intact that I could buy? Mine is a MK2 if that matters. I am in Slovakia, but hopefully that won't put you off sending one to me.

Cheers,
Glenn

Hi Trikey,

It is grey, but I don't know the official colour from the top of my head. Here is a picture.

Thanks,
Glenn

Awesome Andy, thank you! PM on the way.

Cheers, Glenn

BTW, I found a sunroof switch among the spares in the car. My car doesn't have a sunroof. If someone wants it, let me know.

Awe Andy, thank you SO much. I belong to some old motorcycle boards, too, and we do that all the time - sharing parts to help others. It feels good, like family should feel.

Also, your inbox is full.

Cheers,
Glenn

Yes, I agree. This time it wasn't me who was all thumbs, though (for a change!). It was hanging by its wiring when I got her. .

Cheers,
Glenn

Well, a new day and a new discovery. A bulb blew in the left tail light. When taking out the tail light to replace the bulb I discovered the tail light has BOTH tabs broken off AND BOTH ball sockets are broken and stay on the locating balls on the tail light.

And if that is not enough, the bottom screw is stuck in the anchor nut which has become UNanchored (I guess that's not a word ) and is spinning with the screw. What to do with that? A little spot weld on the edge of the anchor nut, maybe?

So, I am in dire need of a left tail light for a MK2 75 Tourer and the two plastic ball sockets. Can anybody help, please? Andy, if you haven't had time to post the courtesy light yet, is there any chance you would have any of these things?

Also, the ABS sensor is getting worse - takes longer for it to wake up every day, so I must get one of those ASAP. Can someone recommend a reliable brand and source for that, please?

Thanks,
Glenn
