Thanks chaps - that's certainly an option.

The part number is 33 30 6 779 486 - if you google it it shows a picture, these should be available from your local BMW dealer for not that much.

Item 6 on this EPC
It's got that extra raised section in the centre which might deform if pulled up tight. (Subaru have something similar).

Wilcox don't have any - I asked them last week.

These are fairly rudimentary circular washers - with a flat profile across approx. 82mm diameter (not sure that the curved edge serves much of a purpose). I should think you could get any thick gauge steel plate cut to do precisely the same job, so don't worry too much about not finding the original parts.

Cheers,
Karl.
If 82mm is across the flat section, what's the overall diameter Karl (inc the curved section)?

PS. Did you manage to find the washer* that goes with the damper to trailing arm bolt?
*Washer part number is RYF000170 - number 11 here https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001548.

A couple of years back, when I replaced my rear suspension arms I was able to get these washers from Rimmer's. I don't know if they still have any though.

Here's the clearest pic I've seen so far of the washers - see post 7, scroll right: https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=244666

I purchase these sometime ago but never got round to comparing them with the original ones to see if they could be used as a replacement ?

Hi guys, here are new originals for comparison. As a side note, these are marked made in United Kingdom. Any chance we could find who made them?

Thumbs up

Excellent - thanks Dawn.

They look like 86 or 87mm outside diameter with a 12mm hole.

I've tried googling the long number on the label (and various parts of it) and I and can't find anything relevant.

Hmm.

Thanks Steve. Yes, I spotted those earlier in the week.

Outside diameter looks like 83mm, so slightly smaller than the MGR one in Dawn's pic - and the hole looks a couple of mill bigger.

Why did they dish the rim on the MGR original - the only reason I can think of is that it stops it warping as the nut is tightened.
