In the garage I use a 1.5 ton Lake & Elliott tolley jack I bought new in 1975 for £75.

Had to rebuild it recently and it cost me that to get a new set of seals made for it!

I have a small 1.5 ton trolley jack that I haven't used since I've got myself a 2 ton garage jack last summer.

I saw the AutoExpress group test yesterday and I nearly went for the Sealey 1025HL but a few poor reviews on Amazon put me off. I think I'll give the SGS TJ3X a try and if it can't lower slowly (very slowly) I'll send it back.
