Absolutely no point polishing your exhaust, if it's 304 or 316 stainless the heat will make it go yellow. And if it's 400 series the road salt will give it corrosion pits in no time

Polish the tips by all means....

Regreased and fitted new rubber boots the the DMGRS supplied front drop links. I think the reason why the better versions of these links fail is that the boots perish and split letting water in.

Do NOT fit rubbish ones where the top joint is welded to the rod with two tiny welds, it can break off and the rod go into the wheel.

Saturday I set off for Northampton in Mo.
Once again she started hesitating and lurching, almost kangarooing.
Pulled into a car park and sat having a think.
I've replaced the cam position sensor, removed the broken handbrake shoe centre pin, put new brake cables, backplates, discs and pads on. What else could it be?
Started thinking along the lines that it also seemed like an intermittent fuel block.
Started the engine, popped the bonnet, revved it a couple of times with the cable, just in case that was sticking, moved my hand over and checked the single pipe that goes into where the fuel injectors are, and it waggled quite a lot side to side.
Now I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that pipe shouldn't move.
I then noticed that the idle wasn't oscillating so I got back in, set off again, and got to Northampton and back with no further problems. Result!

I think I need to de-pressurise the fuel system before setting about fixing this, as I don't know yet if it's a broken pipe or just a loose nut.
I am not experienced enough to do this job so if anyone can help that would be great

Yesterday I took Kims front seats, trim and centre console out.
Today I removed her carpet. It was full of water so I had to cut it into 3 parts. I then vacced up the remaining water in the floor pan.
There are a few small spots with rust, but most of the pan is fine. So, I will now let the heatwave dry her out fully (no water in any cavities), then scrape off excess rust and paint with hammerite. That will probably be before next weekend.

Wasn't today, but yesterday. Took the ZT to the Sherborne Classics and Supercars meet. Considering there were upward of 2,000 cars on display and some of the best cars you will ever see, our little stand was very well received, lots of interest all through the day.

Swapped the rear sunblind button from Kim to Mo. It works

I never give it a thought, but I was in Sheffield earlier

One has to say things have changed somewhat since I was last in town, the bottom of the parkway was dreadful, I would have in the old days gone through the wicker arches, then up past Brass Founders and around Scotland Street.

Instead, I had to turn in left off Hoyle street to go back the other way on Meadow Street, and what's happened to the Record factory??

It made me somewhat sad to see the place if I'm honest

Wicker arches changed when the inner city ring road was completed and joined to the bottom of the parkway. Took me a few goes to get used to which lane to be in etc. Eee fun n games
