Only a slight under estimate. You need to add a couple of zeros.

One thing that puzzles me is that the membership number on that little plastic card I received at Gaydon (160) is different from my 'ordinary' membership number (232). Was I given the wrong card?

No as explained in previous post the card No would not be the same as the original membership No and as I understand it the card No is Now your membership No

Windrush is correct.

What we have been calling your membership number up to now has been the number that the forum software asigns to you when your sign up, the number on your membership card is your membership number.

I didn't think I was a member of anything just that the £10 was a donation to website running costs or am i mixing up two different payments?

Subscription is for full membership and all the benefits that come with it.

Donation is as it says, just if you or anybody feels they have had extra special service and thinks the club is worth a little extra.
