Robert Peston has just done his report on the 6pm news, and announced UK will probably attack Syria along with President Trump.

He also said a Royal Navy Submarine was secretly patrolling the Med.

Well it’s not so much a secret anymore Robert.

This guy really is a Prat - he was the one that escalated the difficulty Northern Rock had got itself into by his need for a scoop - and look what that lead to!

Now he seems determined to get back in the limelight again - but this time lives are at stake.

What a fool.

That's right broadcast our military plans and intentions for the whole world too see, what's he thinking that Mr Putin would be scared?

Not a chance I reckon this is what he wants more then anything.

The cold war may have been over since the fall of the berlin wall, But tensions so far have been a all time high and will escalate if something is not done.

Journalists have a long and dishonourable history of providing reports which endanger/kill service people-its all about them and the story. Having said that there are exceptions but they are few in number and don't get the "Robert Peston" type jobs. Chris S.

No matter what has happened in Syria, I believe we would be foolish to act militarily. Unfortunately, I also believe we will as it will 'unite' our nation at a time it is bitterly divided over other political matters. When will our politicians ever learn? The answer is never.

We get CNN, BBC World, Aljazeera, Sky news etc and that report did not reach us on any of those channels. I wonder if the DA notice system kicked into play?

Our submarine locations are top secret and he has no idea where they are, the guy has turned in to some kind of egocentric. The whole situation in Syria is delicate with Russian and Iranian involvement and given the recent events in Salisbury, let's hope Putin and Trump don't start a conflict which may escalate.

Russia vetoed a UN investigation into who did what re the chemical weapons attack in Syria.
