Default Met my 75 Tourer

Well, good morning all. I have been travelling and am now in Slovakia and have met our CDT Tourer. She is a good 3 - 4 meter car - looks great from 3-4 meters away!

But, she will need some tinkering.

- the ABS & Traction Control lights are on a lot. Usually turning off and restarting the car will clear this up.

- it will need Arctic's SSC.

- door locks - one remote button press unlocks just the driver's door (left). A second press unlocks the rest of the doors and tailgate. BUT, the passenger side doors (right front and rear) will not unlock with the remote nor the button inside the car. Pulling the inside door handle will unlock either door.

- the doors all lock as soon as the car moves. I know, this is a "feature" that is activated wit T4. I must get and learn how to use TOAF. Then I can also active the DRL's.

- the rear seat courtesy light is hanging by its wires. Looks like one broken or missing clip. I will have a closer look.

- there are things rattling around inside the tailgate.

- there is a new/good hood release cable and handle in the glove box. The existing on is a bit hard to pull. The is job #1 tomorrow.

- the IPK has no lines to speak of, but it's too dark to see in the daytime. Turning off the headlights didn't help.

- preset #4 button on the CD-80 radio is stuck in, but the others all work. Yes, life is hard.

- neither door mirror will move. There is power to the switch because the mirror selector buttons light up when pressed.

- I'll end on a positive note. The back up sensors work great.

Cheers,
Glenn

Oh yes, the fuel gauge is at the 8:00 position - always, never moves. It is only correct once for every tankful - when the tank is dry.

Also, both tabs on the rear courtesy light are broken.

Cheers,
Glenn

Good luck, lots of little annoying jobs to do but at the end will be all yours.
