Default Wales v France

Cardiff is amazing on match day, if you haven't been, then do! Crowds are huge and mostly behaved

I took more street shots than the game! Canon 7d, 70-200mm F4L, no flash

I find character photos of local life fascinating. You did well Alf to capture them all. Thank you for sharing.

One of our guards asked if I could take his photo. It was completely unplanned. He said he wanted me to make him look attractive. I do not know if I was successful or not.

Thank you Jeff If I may say, I do like the photos you take of the characters on track day at the race meetings you go to, especially the ones of the beautiful ladies Somehow you make them look glamorous

Just commenting here in passing, but I do not like to take photos of the dispossessed or those who are down on their luck, although such photos carry a strong and powerful message if done right and if the person agrees to being photographed. There is a market for it I am sure if one is reflecting around the issues to do with poverty and how people struggle to make ends meet. One can argue there is a case not to hide it.

I have seen similar on freeview TV in the UK, those donkey adverts and children starving. How those images pluck away at the heart strings. Not sure what the answer is, sorry to divert.

Thanks for the comments, if you are talking about the guy with the long beard, he's a market seller. Has a portable stall selling flags, scarfs' etc on matchday

My comment does not relate to the market trader. I did say it is a comment in passing.

For sure, understood

In this low quality photo from 2016, the gent with the hat, turned on me aggressively shouting and demanding I pay him money. I was taking a photo of a market scene with a phone. He wouldn’t accept that it was an innocent photo on my part.

I've never had a problem as yet, I normally show people if I get a funny look. Mind you, it probably helps that I'm an ex-prop with a shaved head, so people assume lol
