Sorted a corroded wire which had stopped my screenwash pump on my manual tourer.

On my automatic tourer I soldered the interior light fittings to sort out my erratic interior lights, and cleaned and lubricated the passenger front door window mechanism which was noisy and juddery, all smooth and quiet now!

Syphoned coolant from my Connie SE after I'd over-filled it (the MIN/MAX markings inside the tank are illegible) and topped up my newly-acquired 2.5 Club Tourer, on which the MIN/MAX markings were really sharp and easily readable.

Despite taking care, still got a mouthful. It's poisonous, I'm told, so gargled with milk. Still here 12 hours later!

The height of the coolant should just cover the fins at the bottom of the header tank.

Today I tested out my sackbarrow for moving my trolley jack & and stands, saved the usual arm strain and one trip from man cave (shed at bottom of garden) to out front to do the jobs for the day. Engine bottom mount and EGR bypass, been waiting since they arrived from DMGRS. Can't wait to try it out in the morning.

Did my first bit of tinkering - followed the How To fix the mirror switches, worked a treat.

You have to do something similar with the Sterling...

...now why didn't they fit mirror memories like they did the Sterling?

Oh, nearly forgot - did get it to the jetwash for a quick sluice down, was starting to go black below the waist trim (it's silver).

I polished the windscreen with wire wool (GRADE 0000) then fitted new wiper blades.
