Highest Mileage 75 Zt? Just Wondering
Hi all
Just wondering who has the highest milage ZT or 75 Petrol or diesel? Put your variant here......just for interest really! Don't think the V8's are going to win here. Lets see, if you owned a V8 that had done 100,000 miles (maybe in 10 years time!!) That's 100,000 X 95p a litre X 4.54 = £ 21,565 ...scary I'll start it off Rover 75 CDT 52 plate manual 77,000 miles (probably nothing compared to yours) Last edited by Jules; 16th April 2007 at 22:46.. |

I know of at least one CDT with 200,000 plus on it
Lets expand this thread a bit, who has the highest mileage on the original autobox? I want to dispel any idea that they croak around 100,000 |

If they can take the strain of Freelanders and Jags the JATCO should last well in 75 ZT's then?
Remember the old ZF Auto box in the Rover 800's. Some of the earlier boxes had a short life, until Rover had brake bands and bearings etc uprated. |

My Ford Galaxy had a JATCO box which promptly failed at 109K miles, lost the third gear completely diagnosed as a solenoid fail, when we opened the gearbox there was metal shards everywhere!

There was a 75 Conn SE CDT on ebay last week with 274k on it. Apparently still driving very well. Certainly gives us diesel owners some peace of mind. Mine is a 2002 2.0 CDT manual on 79k.
