My 2001 , 132K mile CDT has no rust in the rear sills either, despite a rusty hole in the N/S upper rear arm. Pre project drive, did they rust-proof them better in Longbridge?

PS Both n/s jack pads are missing on mine, - I use a soft pad on my jack.

Just normal bathroom sealant. If you lose one of the jacking pads, just cut some shed roof tarpaulin into pieces that are slightly larger than the pads and use bathroom sealant to fix them.

Rust ?
The car was professionally waxoyled 5 years ago and seems to be generally surviving well I do keep my eye on it though , and confess the rear upper arms did not survive .
